Laurel Creek

This weekend we decided to get some sun in the Laurel Creek Conservation Area. Close to the Columbia Lake (about which I talked here), the Laurel Creek Conservation Area is a beautiful multifunctional natural habitat being operated by the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA). With a lake for swimming and canoeing, a Nature Centre, hiking trails, camping site and proximity to the Waterloo city, this conservation area is a preferred destination for many travelers. Below pictures tell the story of our early morning beach "adventure" :)

Here are some interesting links from the GRCA site:
1. Newsletter.
2. Events.

Ok...these guys were ahead of us on the beach to take care of their hygiene. Posted by Hello
