Hot, hot, hot!
Brian started the lecture with his passionate confession about the need to educate the public about science by telling the great stories behind scientific discoveries in the accessible form of storytelling.
Then, kind of similar with the main character of his new book "Icarus at the Edge of Time", Brian Greene took the audience into an exciting visual journey in the world of black holes. True to his reputation of great science popularizer he proved that understanding General Relativity, Black Holes, Event Horizon, etc. doesn't need to be complicated.
He elegantly ended the lecture with the mystery of what his fictional galactic Icarus finds after returning from the journey close to black hole's perimeter, suggesting that the answer is in the book.
Brian brilliantly demonstrated that science inspired stories could be really hot, hot, hot!
