The Magic of 8.

The Beijing Olympics Games were marked by number 8, a lucky number for Chinese people:
- Games start on 08.08.2008
- 2008 stunning drummers open the Games ceremonies
- Michael Phelps gloriously wins 8 out of 8 gold medals
- light wheels used in the closing ceremonies have precisely 2.008 meters in diameter, as reported on this NBCOlympics page
- the tower of people at the closing ceremonies transforms into a giant lucky cloud tree having 16 branches
- as a coincidence Canadians started winning the 18 medals in the 8th day of the Games.

Lets hope that the end of the year will witnesses that 2008 was a lucky number for the world too.
